Volter Smart-22 — single-phase voltage stabilizer
Smart-22 is a single-phase voltage stabilizer for an apartment or house with a maximum power of 22 kW. Belongs to the Volter Smart series and is designed to provide stabilized voltage to all types of electrical consumers when powered from a network with unsatisfactory voltage quality.
This is a double-conversion device without energy storage. The stabilizer ensures complete independence of the output voltage from both changes and surges in the input voltage, and from changes in the load.
For this purpose, it contains a reference voltage source with a stable value and the network frequency, with which the output voltage is continuously compared. Thanks to this design, the stabilizer does not react even to very sharp, almost instantaneous changes in the input voltage and quickly adapts to any changes in the load.
Independence from the load type has also been implemented: the stabilizer works equally effectively with active, capacitive and inductive loads, provided that the output current does not exceed the permissible value.
