Volter Smart-7 — single-phase voltage stabilizer
Smart-7 is a single-phase voltage stabilizer for an apartment or house with a maximum power of 7 kW. This model is part of the Volter Smart series and is designed to provide stabilized voltage to all types of electrical consumers when powered from a network with unsatisfactory voltage quality.
This is a double-conversion device without energy storage, which ensures complete independence of the output voltage from both changes and surges in the input voltage, and from changes in the load.
To monitor the output voltage, the stabilizer contains a reference voltage source with a network frequency and a stable value, with which the output voltage is continuously compared. Thanks to this design, the device does not react even to sharp and almost instantaneous changes in the input voltage, but very quickly adapts to any changes in the load.
Load type independence has also been implemented: the stabilizer works equally effectively with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, provided that the output current does not exceed the permissible value.
