Smart On-Line — the double conversion principle
Smart On-Line is built on the double conversion principle. This principle makes the output completely independent of the input network state. Even with strong instability and interference, the input signal is first converted to direct current and is not transmitted to the output.
In the first stage, a rectifier with a power factor corrector charges the capacitors with a direct voltage. The corrector is necessary to avoid loading the network with large pulse currents.
In the second stage, an output alternating voltage of an perfect sinusoidal waveform is formed from the direct voltage using pulse-width modulation.
The stabilizer works equally well with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, ensuring a voltage deviation of no more than 1% from the set value. The frequency is maintained at 50 Hz, regardless of input voltage fluctuations.
The device always produces a clean signal without interference. When connected to a generator, the stabilizer forms a correct sinusoidal voltage waveform, which is especially important for asynchronous motors and transformer power supplies, since distortion leads to equipment overheating.
The stability of the output voltage and a wide range of input values make stabilizers with double energy conversion an optimal solution for servers, industrial controllers, and other sensitive equipment.
