Smart On-Line — the double conversion principle

Smart On-Line are built on the double conversion principle. Double conversion is an effective way to make the output completely independent of the input state. The electrical network may be characterized by strong instability, interference and other distortions, but this signal is converted to direct current and is not transmitted to the output.

Operating principle

• First stage. Using a rectifier with a power factor corrector, the capacitors are charged with direct voltage. The power factor corrector is necessary to avoid loading the network with large pulse currents.
• Second stage. Using the pulse-width modulation method, an output alternating voltage of an perfect sinusoidal shape is formed from direct voltage.

Operating Stability

The stabilizer operates equally well with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, maintaining a stable voltage level with a deviation of no more than 1% from the value set by the user. A stable frequency of 50 Hz is also maintained, regardless of input voltage fluctuations.

Clean Signal

The stabilizer is capable of outputting a clean signal without any interference at any time. When connected to a generator, it provides a correct sinusoidal voltage waveform. This is especially important when connecting asynchronous motors and transformer power supplies, since a distorted voltage waveform leads to their overheating.
