Volter Smart-5.5 — single-phase voltage stabilizer
Smart-5.5 is a single-phase voltage stabilizer for an apartment or house with a maximum power of 5.5 kW. The model belongs to the Volter Smart series and is designed to provide stabilized voltage to all types of electrical consumers when powered from a network with unsatisfactory voltage quality.
The device belongs to the class of double conversion stabilizers and does not use energy storage. This circuit ensures complete independence of the output voltage from both changes and surges in the input voltage, and from changes in the load.
The stabilizer design uses a reference voltage source with a network frequency and a stable value, with which the output voltage is continuously compared. Thanks to this, the stabilizer does not react even to very sharp, almost instantaneous changes in the input voltage and instantly adapts to any changes in the load.
Complete independence from the load type is achieved — the stabilizer works equally effectively with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, provided that the output current does not exceed the permissible value.
