The SENSOR CEILING 360DEG IP44 WT Ledvance motion sensor (inclined) operates on a simple principle, allowing you to automatically turn lights on and off. The device is connected to a 220V power supply and a luminaire that is set to operate upon detection (motion detection). The device then functions as a switch, helping save energy on lighting: When movement occurs within the detection zone, the sensor activates. If the model is capable of detecting ambient light, the device first analyzes this indicator. If natural light in the room is lower than the setting, the sensor responds, the luminaire contacts close, and the lighting turns on. If the room is sufficiently bright (the corresponding parameter is higher than the activation setting), the sensor will not respond—the luminaire will not turn on. If the device is unable to detect ambient light, any movement within the detection zone will trigger the lighting. After a preset period of inactivity, the sensor activates as a switch. Where are sensors used? The scope of application for such devices is rapidly expanding. Previously, they were primarily used in parking lots, office buildings, and public restrooms. Today, sensors are installed in a wide variety of facilities, where simple adjustments can significantly reduce energy costs (savings can reach 70% or more).
