Fast charging and no memory effect:

Lithium batteries charge significantly faster than lead-acid batteries. The absence of memory effect means that the battery can be charged and discharged at any charge level without loss of capacity. LiFePO4 batteries are charged with a maximum recommended current of 0.5C, where C is the battery capacity. For the LP LiFePO4 28.8V - 32Ah battery, the maximum charging current should not exceed 140A (0.5 x 280Ah). It is important that this current does not exceed the BMS's capabilities to maintain safety and prolong battery life.
