The LZM series circuit breaker is designed to protect distribution network cables fed by power transformers. It features a thermal-magnetic tripping device adjustable from 0.8 to 1 In and an electromagnetic tripping device adjustable from 8 to 10 x In for short-circuit and overload currents. Circuit breakers in this series offer a wide range of rated currents and auxiliary devices (partially compatible with the higher-end NZM series) and are inexpensive, making them ideal for distribution networks up to 415V. A high breaking capacity of 36 kA and extremely fast tripping (less than 10 ms) allow the 40-amp circuit breaker to protect equipment with high short-circuit current ratings.
