AGM Lead-Acid Battery

An external universal battery, manufactured using AGM technology, is a completely sealed external power source that requires no maintenance during storage or operation.

The manufacturing technology of universal AGM (absorbent glass mat) external batteries implies the presence of an absorbent fiberglass lining inside the battery. Batteries of this type cope well with increased loads.

Advantages of AGM batteries:

• The resource of charge/discharge cycles of an AGM battery is 400* (on average 5 years, depending on operating conditions).
• The battery can be installed in residential premises. The absence of free liquid electrolyte between the plates and the complete sealing of the case eliminate acid leaks and guarantee the absence of harmful fumes.
• In practical use, these batteries show stable results when operating at low (-20 ° C) and high (+ 50 ° C) ambient temperatures.
• In operation, a lead-acid AGM battery can withstand long-term discharge, cyclic discharge, deep discharge and high-current discharge.
• Batteries of this type have low self-discharge rates during long-term storage and reliable self-protection against overdischarge and overcharging of the battery.

Features of AGM battery production

Porous insulating gaskets made of thin fiberglass are placed inside the battery manufactured using AGM technology. Separators and electrode plates are tightly pressed against each other. Thus, there is no free liquid electrolyte left between the battery plates, since it is contained in the separator and in the active part of the electrodes.

The amount of liquid electrolyte is dosed in such a way that small pores are filled with acid, and large ones ensure gas circulation.

The battery design has an improved
